Glenda Hewitt

Glenda Hewitt is a marketing/communication executive with Hewlett Packard. She has been a member of the IABC since 2006 and has served on the NSW Chapter Board since 2008.

An active Board member Glenda was president in 2009/10 and currently serves as Treasurer.

As a Board member she is deeply committed to professional development within the communication discipline and is dedicated to helping Chapter members maximise the value of their global membership. Her background includes teaching, journalism, broadcasting and corporate communications.

Jonathan Champ, Research & Content Director for Melcrum Asia Pacific, is an experienced internal and change communication advisor. An IABC member for over 15 years, he previously served on the NSW Chapter Board, participated in regional Gold Quill judging and is a member of the 2012 IABC Excel Global selection panel.

Paul's experience in communication approaches 20 years, and covers a wide range of disciplines, including corporate communication (internal and external), public relations and media, marketing communications and advertising.  

He first joined the IABC in 2005 while working in New Zealand, transferring his membership to the NSW Chapter a year later upon moving to Sydney.  Paul has been an active local member, serving on the Board from 2006 to early-2010.  He was re-elected to the Board in November 2011.

Professor Jim Macnamara

Professor Jim Macnamara

Jim Macnamara (PhD, MA, FAMI, CPM, FPRIA, FAMEC) is Professor of Public Communication and Deputy Dean in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Technology Sydney. He took up his academic posts after a 30-year career in professional communication practice spanning journalism, corporate and marketing communication, and media research.

Jim is an international authority on the evaluation of communication campaigns and social media, and the author of 12 books including The 21st Century Media (R)evolution published by Peter Lang, New York in 2010 and Public Relations Theories, Practices, Critiques published by Pearson Australia in 2012.
